This is NHPD Lieutenant Rives King Bellefontaine straight out of New Orleans Cajun country. Wheee! Growing up near the New Orleans area and having Cajun friends around me was always an entertainment. So I was inspired by that and talking with Kaitlyn about something TOTALLY UNRELATED to create him. He is a hard core cop who just so happens to be a really rare human, sans ghouls, that knows of the creatures that lurk in the darkness. *cue epic movie music pls*

Uploaded for Kaitlyn by her demand! Yes BOSSY is her new theme song and she rocks it so much better than Kelis!

Biography: Rives was born not in the stylish French Quarter of New Orleans, but in a shack by a swamp. He was raised around the animals that lived there, learning from his mother not only to respect the animals but protect yourself as well. It was something she always tried to do for him, protect that is, nearly costing her life when she saved his young one from the men who were after his father. A pan of grease was sitting on the stove where she was about to cook, the contents catching and thrown onto her face and body. Rives watched in horror as she caught fire before his eyes, he screaming and trying to run to her but held back by the gang members as they laughed.

It was that life changing moment that made the little boy turn away from the life he most likely would have fallen into. Instead, with his horribly scared mother, Rives lived his life devoted to breaking up the New Orleans gangs. Finding himself deep undercover in the midst of their drug world for years until a bust went wrong and his cover was blown. He had to get away then, thankful by this time he mother was gone and not there to see her son lay in a hospital bed for months recovering before he left the city for good. Arriving here to start over in a new police department and a new city he is ready to get back to what he is best at, being a cop.

P.S. Did I mention he is devoted to his religion? A very devout Voodoo man before you . . . so if anyone hears things about animals going missing for religious sacrifice you know where they going :O

3 little pigs

3 little pigs

Mother Pig sends her three little piglets out into the world to "seek their fortune".

The first little pig builds a house of straw, but a wolf blows it down and eats the pig. The encounter between wolf and pig features ringing proverbial phrases:

One day the big bad wolf came and knocked on the first little pig's door and said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." And the little pig answered, "No, no, I won't let you come in, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin." "Well," said the wolf, "then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in." So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down and swallowed the first pig.

The second pig builds a house of sticks, has the same conversation with the wolf, who huffs and puffs the house down and swallows the second pig.

The third pig builds a house of bricks. The wolf cannot huff and puff hard enough to blow the house down. He attempts to trick the third little pig out of his house, but the pig outsmarts him at every turn. Finally, the wolf threatens to come down the chimney, whereupon the third little pig boils a pot of water into which the wolf plunges. In some versions, the pig cooks the wolf into a stew and eats him.

In recent years, the story has been retold in softer tone. In these retellings, no one is eaten; the two less prudent pigs escape to their brother's house, while the wolf escapes rather than being fatally boiled.

Three Little Pigs is a fairy tale featuring talking animals. Published versions of the story date back to the late 18th century, but the story is thought to be much older. The phrases used in the story, and the various morals which can be drawn from it, have become enshrined in western culture.
